The Red Lion in Totton now offers new bed and breakfast accommodation from 1^st November 2006. 

The Red Lion is a friendly, family-run Inn with all you would expect and much more:-

• Licensed bar open from 7am til 1am 7 days per week selling a wide range of lagers, spirits, wines, ciders and real ales.

• Superb Restaurant with an extensive menu ranging from fresh fish to Chefs specials,as well as the old favourites – bangers and mash, pasta, curry, steak and chicken dishes.  All meals are freshly made on premises and all vegetables and fruit used are totally organic.

• We also offer a snack menu with fresh warm baguettes, homemade burgers, salads...

• Sunday Carvery is served from 12 noon til 5pm.

• Outside Beer Garden and extensive children's’ play area including bouncy assault course in summer months.  In winter months children have their own indoor play room.

• Outstanding Entertainment from Live Music Fri and Sat evenings to Karaoke every Wednesday and Sunday.

• Pool Table, Darts, Fruit and Casino Machines even Dominoes.!!

• In the winter months we also have an open log fire to make things really cosy.

Included in accommodation price is breakfast from our breakfast menu which includes Full English with cereals included, or Continental.  We cater for every taste from vegetarian and vegan to a simple bacon bap!

Should you not require breakfast, a packed lunch can be made to your requirements instead.

Lunch and Evening Meals

Our extensive restaurant is open from 7am for breakfast every day, and our main menu is available from 11am until 9pm every day.  Sunday Carvery is also open from 12 noon til 5pm.  Please see our full menu on our website.  All our fruit and vegetables are organic with all meals freshly prepared to order.

Should you require meals outside these times, please just let us know.

We also offer a specially prepared packed lunch service.

PRICES

Our prices start from  £30 per person per night which includes breakfast.

The family room is available from £75 per night per room, which includes breakfast.

The Red Lion must be one of the few pubs that is actually situated on the edge of a nature reserve, which has remained unspoilt, despite past plans for development. The pub also boasts ownership of considerable land running alongside the reserve, and it's therefore possible for visitors to take a leisurely stroll along the reserve. Visitors will also find that they are just a very short drive from the excellent New Forest, which boasts beautiful scenery & villages, well known landmarks and historical sites and an abundance of forest wildlife and fauna.

We are situated five minutes from M27, Junction 3, 10 minutes drive from Southampton city centre and immediately across from Totton train station and bus stops.

We require a deposit of 20% of total bill to confirm booking and the full amount is payable on arrival unless an account has been set up for you.

We also offer special long-term and weekly rates to companies and contractors and VAT invoices can be issued.  Just telephone us to discuss your requirements.
